The portion of the severe thunderstorm watch that was in effect for southeast Virginia has been cancelled.

Severe Thunderstorm Watch in Effect Until 9 PM
A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 9 PM for far southeast Virginia, including Southampton and Isle of Wight counties. Thunderstorms with winds in excess of 60 mph and hail dime-size and larger will be possible.
