Update 3:30PM Saturday

A band of heavy snow is moving south through Central Virginia at this time, currently stretching from northwest of Stevensville, through Doswell, to Louisa. This band will move through the Metro in the next hour. The overall trend of this storm, however, is to be winding down as the surface low tracks to the east in the Atlantic away from the Mid-Atlantic. Can you make out the center of the low east of Virginia Beach?

Snow will continue ending from west to east in Virginia through the afternoon and evening. I expect all snow to be out of the state by 10 p.m.
