Heat Advisory for Part of Virginia

While a heat ridge continues to influence our region and much of the Southeast, high temperatures and humidity will combine to produce dangerous heat indices during the afternoon hours today. Heat Index values will be as high as 108 degrees in the advised counties this afternoon, with high temperatures in the upper 90s to around 100 degrees.
