Areas of dense fog have developed early Monday morning from the Richmond area South to the North Carolina border and East into the Chesapeake Bay. Visibilities are below a mile in this region, with locally denser fog limiting visibilities to half a mile or worse. I expect the fog to continue into mid-morning.
