A new Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for the eastern half of VA and is in effect until 1 AM tonight. The main threat from these storms will be damaging winds.

There was a large tree in my neighbors yard that snapped in half and crushed our shed. This happened in Highland Springs. We had no power from about 6PM to 4AM.
